She will be introducing coding to the kids of Dagupan City and for the ICT Teachers/Facilitators. Participants will learn how cool it is to teaching coding in your school.

Michie is doing this event so that she can show the younger generations what they can do if they know how to program or code. Also, this event can show our schools here in the Philippines different ways to introduce coding to their school that is fun and easy.

Event is free and only has limited slots. Please wait for confirmation email and text if you were able to get a slot for the event on February 5. Please make sure to attend so that your slot wouldn’t be wasted. Thank you.

Why are you doing this?
Not every school in the Philippines have the opportunity to teach coding. Not every kid in the Philippines will be given a chance to be inform about this path especially those who are in the provinces or rural areas. Not everyone is fortunate enough to afford the education or tools necessary for them to learn and practice this skill. And I like to change that! 😉
